Snuff:
"A type of smokeless tobacco. There are several types, used in different ways, but traditionally it
means dry nasal snuff, which is inhaled or "snuffed" through the nose". Apart from flavors, dry snuff also comes in a range of texture and moistness, from very fine to coarse, and very dry to very moist.

Rooster & Lotzbeck Vanilla!

Posted by NicotineRush on August 1, 2009 under Custom Blends

One of our good customers suggested that a ‘Custom Snuff Blends’ category be added to Nasal Snuff Blog and I agree.

To start it off, I’ll add my current custom blend. Ok, it sounds gross, but to me it’s heavenly. I’ve been adding about 1 gram of Lotzbeck’s Vanilla to about 4 grams of Rooster. The Vanilla is an excellent snuff in it’s own right but I felt I needed the extra ‘nic hit’ that I get from the Rooster. The added moisture of the vanilla smooths out the Rooster making for a creamy soft aromatic snuff. Takes the ‘edge’ off the Rooster. The vanilla is a subtle and long lasing aroma.

Lotzbeck’s Vanilla has a wonderful ‘Cavendish’ aroma that I remember from years ago when I smoked a pipe. I loved going into the local smoke shop where they had 15 or 20 different custom pipe blends to try. I really enjoyed opening the lids of each for a good whiff! The Lotbeck Vanilla takes me right back to that time.

Here’s my description of the Vanilla:

"Dark chocolate in color, medium grind and medium moisture with an enjoyable vanilla Cavendish scent. Long lasting flavor. Very nice. One of my favorites".

Have you been blending? Reply to this post and I’ll add them right away.
